Reference Letter MontenaSoft: Conrad Electronic (Conrad International GmbH)

Conrad Electronic is currently operating in 10 European countries and we are selling our products world-wide. We needed a solution for managing the geographically dispersed capabilities of our workforce, in an effort that was aimed toward aggregation and managing of internal company’s potentials and know-how. Almost 3000 Conrad’s employees needed a platform where we can upload and access various content, share our ideas about the daily business and the current business trends.

According to our targets we defined the Drupal Commons as a possible software solution. Because of the high number of users and some special business requirements we had to implement some extra features on this platform.

After the planning period we found the MontenaSoft Team as an Aquia-Drupal partner company.

Since the beginning of the project the MontenaSoft is on the cutting edge regarding new IT developments and trends. They delivered comprehensive and thorough training regarding customized Drupal Commons web application and they also support us continuously with great solutions and advices on how to improve the platform. Our project time line was very strict and we needed an Intranet solution within four months. This period was full of tests, developments, trainings and planning, but the result was excellent- the Ideas Inside platform!

We got a well-designed, powerful social-communication platform with all the required functions. MontenaSoft created us a tool for collaboration and social interaction. I strongly believe that with the help of the Ideas Inside platform we can easily follow the rapid changes in our business and gain the synergy impacts from the knowledge aggregation.

The launch of the platform was an important mile stone in this project but surely not the end of it. With the help of the 80 pilot participants we would like to further test and develop the platform together with MontenaSoft Team to make it even more effective and powerful for the Community of Conrad Electronics.
