CEO & Founder

Zeljko is the CEO and founder of MontenaSoft. After getting a degree in electrical engineering and telecommunications and having spent more than 10 years in different positions in the IT industry (from education to insurance, from medical software solutions to cell phone communication engineering for the Fortune 500 companies, to name but a few) he decided in 2008 to start the company with the focus on developing sophisticated web solutions and complex computer applications.

My responsibility in MontenaSoft: 
I oversee the HR, business and project management and enjoy the opportunity to build relationships with our clients, team and other like minded companies and individuals who strive to excellence and try to make this world a better place to live.
Favorite Tech Gadget: 

piece of white paper and sharp pencil, to name but a few - and a lot of computer power around to support the first two tools.

Piece of software that I can't live without: 

mind mapping tool FreeMind. Once attached to it, it is almost impossible to understand how I could ever start planning new project without it.

When I am not in front of computer screen: 

I enjoy spending time with my wife and son and make short trips to beautiful forests and parks around Vienna. You can also find me in marshal arts club, where I train and teach Aikido (currently 2nd grade black belt), although not so often as I would like it.

Tech skill I am most proud of: 

besides Java in its numerous variants and distributions, I also find the world of Drupal quite fascinating… diving into it has brought me the feeling of the community that I have searched for a long time.
