TRISTAR®, the new worldwide brand for Triathlon events attracting a broad range of sports enthusiasts on a team-spirit - fun factor basis. The overwhelmingly positive message will generate masses of participants at our professionally organized events.

To provide such impact, TRISTAR® organized a broad media campaign that included also MontenaSoft. Our role was to develop basic web system based on existing visual design with some additional Views/CCK customization. Although a kind of standard task, it appeared to be challenging because we had less then one week to develop cross-browser compatible Drupal Theme (among other things); besides, specification was not cleared in some fine workflow details.

To accomplish the task, we decided to use Acquia Drupal distribution (because of our good experiences with stability) and Zen Theme (which is highly customizable and yet works stable over many different browsers and operating systems). In 3 days, we had a system ready to be delivered. We must of course say that this would not be possible without tremendously well-tested Zen-Theme and Acquia distribution (our thanks to developers and maintainers, again). As always, Internet Explorer 6 has given us some extra tasks to do. This was however not worth of mentioning to the job of developing cross-browser theme from the scratch, which is something that we usually advice our clients as a practice that should be avoided.
