Project description

www.Quax.at is a portal with more than 3,500 entries with a focus on arts and culture for families with children, and has a large and active user community. To achieve their goals, they developed very complex hierarchy (node structures) through CCK. This special node types were also connected trough multiple relationships.

This complex data structure have made searching through built-in capabilities of Drupal impossible; it just did not serve their purpose. At that moment, Quax contacted MontenaSoft to assist the developing of search module that should work together with intended workflow of the site.

MontenaSoft has improved the search functionality of Quax site in Oct 2008, and since then helps the Quax GmbH with ongoing support and assistance in technical questions (Drupal, community features, media content, etc.). Besides, we have explain and taught them to use several important Drupal mantras, like 'do not hack the core' :-)
