Following the success of a Austrian Research Strategy discussion site, Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology initiated together with for Austrian Council Research and Technology Development public discussion about “Energieforschungsstrategie für Österreich“ (Energy Research Strategy for Austria). This document, created by an expert group, has become a basis for in-depth discussion of industry and university peers, as well interested individuals. The goal of this online consultation process was to develop practical measures for energy research strategy actions and to get support of broad public for selected strategy by incorporation of public feedback. The result of the process is refined energy research policy proposal that will lead to official recommendations for the Austrian Federal Government.
